## About the Role

* TS/SCI Poly - with CI poly within last 7 years
 * Active IAT Level I certification
 * BS + 10 years experience
 * Expertise in installing/operating/administering and upgrading ClearCase and ClearQuest Tools
 * Strong knowledge of developing/implementing requirements repositories
 * Strong knowledge of using JIRA and other project management/tracking tools
 * General scripting knowledge (perl, bash, sh, csh, windows batch, python)
 * Must have excellent writing skills

## Description

The Software Tool Engineer shall work with teams to identify, engineer, and implement the most optimum automated solution that follows approved processes for a given project or infrastructure. In addition, Tools Engineers shall work with all other infrastructure support teams as other support teams are identified as part of a solution to identify, engineer and implement solutions that integrate with the automation/infrastructure/productivity tools., * Participate int the research, analysis and recommendation of software productivity tools to support Key Management development efforts.

 * Develop and maintain software productivity tools installations, integrations, development and configuration plans.
 * Develop, tailor and maintain associated technical documentation for software productivity tools.
 * Perform regular backup of software productivity tools databases, datasets and files.
 * Monitor, track, and manage software productivity tools, licenses, and associated media.
 * Install, integrate, develop, customize and configure software productivity tools (e.g. IBM/Rational Tools, HP Service Manager) in support of Key Management efforts.
 * Provide consulting, training and hands-on experience to project personnel to include Key Management personnel in the use of software tools.
 * Integrate software productivity tools to implement existing and proposed project processes in use.
