This role involves working closely with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate, high-quality designs., * Drafting and Design Preparation: + Prepare detailed electrical drawings for substation secondary systems, including protection, control, and communication systems + Develop layouts and details for cable trenches, duct banks, and equipment foundations + Create interface circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, block diagrams, and room layouts * Technical Specifications: + Prepare and review technical specifications and documentation for substation secondary systems + Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies * Collaboration with Engineers: + Work closely with primary design engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive secondary system designs + Incorporate design feedback and revisions from engineers to finalize drawings + Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for consistency in designs and details * Documentation and Reporting: + Maintain and organize drawing sets, revisions, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle + Generate reports and maintain logs for design progress and drawing submissions * Quality and Compliance: + Conduct self-checks and peer reviews of drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness + Follow quality control procedures to maintain high drafting standards, Mott MacDonald Ltd. are not currently offering sponsorship to candidates under the Skilled Worker visa route in the UK.
