## About the Role

Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT troubleshooting and support., * Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT troubleshooting and support.

 * Take initiative, be proactive and propose improvements to streamline existing processes.
 * Strong organizational skills and ability to take ownership of issues.
 * Basic PC hardware knowledge and computer device setup and troubleshooting.
 * Advanced knowledge of Windows desktop OS version 7, 8 and 10.
 * Advanced knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and user permissions (ACL).
 * Knowledge of shared and network printers. Ability to troubleshoot, install and repair drivers.
 * Advanced knowledge of networking, setup and troubleshooting.
 * Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Outlook.

Education

 * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
 * Certifications such as A+, Network+ are optional but preferred.

Requirements

 * Local candidates only.
 * No remote work.

## Description

* Process new user setup and termination requests in required systems.
 * Respond to phone calls, emails and online tickets using company's ticketing system.
 * Troubleshoot and correct basic problems with multiple applications (either home grown or through third party vendors)
 * Communicate with third party vendors and providers.
 * Maintain inventory system and keep a detailed log of assets for traceability.
 * Occasional weekend and evening support, either on call or on site when needed.
 * Be in charge of premises access, create, assign and disable identification badges.
 * Review system logs and escalate errors.
