## About the Role

* Expert level knowledge of core Java concepts and framework such as Spring Boot, Microservices and well versed with OOPs concepts and design patterns.
 * Hands-on experience with Apache Spark (with Java).
 * Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
 * Extensive development expertise in building the high scaled and performant software platforms for data computation and processing.
 * Knowledge of containerized deployments and cloud-native architecture.
 * Familiarity with Agile software development and DevOps best practices.
 * Experience with caching solutions like Pinot, Redis etc.
 * Experience with relational and/or document-oriented databases.
 * Strong working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and scripting.
 * Ability to translate business and analytical requirements into efficient technical solutions.
 * Ability to guide junior staff, influence technical direction, and manage multiple initiatives in parallel.
 * Typically, 8+ years of relevant experience building large-scale, production-grade systems, with demonstrated depth in Java-based backend development and distributed system design.
 * Background in financial services, especially within Market Risk or FinTech.

 * Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and drive projects independently
 * Ability to align technology with business goals and regulatory needs.
 * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Education:

 * Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
