Comfortable presenting in front of others. * Ability to effectively manage all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department. ## Description The Director of Information Technology will establish, plan and administer the overall policies and goals for the information technology department. They will analyze the needs of different departments and determine ways to meet business objectives by modifying existing or developing new information processing systems. The Director of IT will manage the research and selection of IT equipment, applications and supplies. Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization., * Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems including telephones, software applications, ERP systems and peripherals. * Provide expertise and support during upgrades, installations, conversions and file maintenance. Manage telecommunications infrastructure and development plans, projects, policies and procedures. * Analyze complex business needs presented by the user and/or customers and recommends technical solutions. * Manage IT staff, including hiring, training, evaluation, guidance, discipline and discharge. * Develop the IT staff to meet the changing needs of users, groups; new projects and technologies and varying staff strengths. * Ensure systems development and enhancements are integrated with existing systems.
