## About the Role

* Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or Software Engineer
 * Proficient knowledge with Java
 * This position is hybrid, requiring a combination of remote and in-office work. To support collaboration and occasional on-site requirements, preference will be given to candidates who reside within a 50-mile radius of the work location.
 * U.S. Citizen or Green Card Permanent Resident, minimum 3+ years of U.S. residency and Public Trust approval

Desired Qualifications:

 * Desired experience includes: engineering and mathematics programming background.
 * Geospatial knowledge, aviation industry knowledge, knowledge of web map services, J2EE, XML/AIXM, CAD programs, Matlab all a plus.
 * Requires the ability to work on existing code within existing designs in a large and diverse Java application.
 * Requires highly productive consistent independent performance to produce quality solutions to existing software problems or new features.
 * Candidate must have strong testing skills for testing independently both before and after changes in order to produce high quality solutions prior to submitting for formal review and testing.
 * Ability to work in a professional environment, learn and work well with others, and share information is essential.
 * Candidate should have a strong interest in engineering software programming with a long term employment outlook.
