## About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Linux Systems Administrator to join a growing real-time systems team focused on enterprise patching and infrastructure support. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with 3-5 years of experience who is eager to strengthen their engineering skills in a highly collaborative, high-compliance environment.
You will play a key role in both project-based work and day-to-day operational support, helping to maintain and automate a large-scale Linux environment., * 3-5 years of experience in Linux/Unix system administration

 * Strong experience with Red Hat (RHEL preferred)
 * Hands-on experience with Ansible and configuration management
 * Proficiency in Bash scripting
 * Solid understanding of Linux systems engineering and operations
 * Experience working in enterprise or production environments
 * Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution calls
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

 * Exposure to Solaris or other Unix systems
 * Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM, Oracle VM)
 * Familiarity with networking, applications, and infrastructure support concepts
 * Experience working within compliance-heavy or regulated environments

## Description

* Administer and support enterprise Linux environments (RHEL, CentOS, Oracle Linux)
 * Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for automation and system management
 * Write and enhance Bash scripts for operational efficiency and automation where needed
 * Perform system patching, upgrades, and performance tuning
 * Troubleshoot system issues and lead root cause analysis efforts
 * Collaborate with network, application, and hardware teams to resolve cross-functional issues
 * Support virtualization platforms such as VMware, KVM, or Oracle VM
 * Maintain thorough documentation within a highly regulated environment
 * Contribute to continuous improvement and automation initiatives
