## About the Role

4-5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist in a corporate or enterprise environment

-Strong background in forecasting and predictive modeling using statistical and machine learning techniques

-Master's or PhD in Data Science (or a closely related field)

-Recent, hands-on experience working with Databricks

-Some level of exposure to or experience supporting o9 implementations -Prior experience in the CPG industry

-Experience supporting large-scale enterprise planning or supply chain systems

-Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex models to non-technical stakeholders

## Description

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Data Scientist to support a large CPG client on a long-term, remote engagement. This individual will join the Data & Analytics organization and work closely with the data science team, playing a key role in the company's o9 planning platform implementation.

o9 is an enterprise planning platform used to forecast demand and align supply, operations, and finance within a single system. This role will be heavily focused on developing, refining, and scaling statistical and machine learning-based forecasting models to support the next phase of the implementation. This role will Design, build, and optimize forecasting models using statistical and machine learning techniques. They will support the transition from the staff model to a more advanced, ML-driven o9 implementation

Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data science solutions

Leverage Databricks to develop, test, and deploy models in a production environment. Lastly, they will Contribute to model performance tuning, validation, and ongoing optimization. Pay is around 57-60/hr.
