The role ensures that data products are treated as durable business assets, not one-off reports or projects, and that delivery efforts are aligned to measurable Purchasing outcomes. Acting as the primary interface between business stakeholders and delivery teams, the Product Owner translates domain needs into a clear product roadmap, balancing value, feasibility, and capacity.
