## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 5-7 years relevant experience (IT infrastructure support, application support, cloud computing, disaster/recovery) or 6-9 years relevant work experience.
 * Expertise in Unix system administration, including Red Hat Linux (Enterprise, all versions), Oracle Linux; experience with clustering and automation required.
 * Ability to create original scripts/programs for system administration within at least one language: Bourne shell, Perl, Python, or Java; prior experience in Ansible playbooks and Red Hat PCS clustering.
 * Participation in 24/7 on-call rotation, with the ability to work extended hours or modified schedules for planned or emergency work as required.

 * Collaborate with network engineers to optimize IT infrastructure, and provide technical support and guidance to users.
 * Plan and implement security patching activities for Linux server platforms, ensuring compliance and documentation of system changes.
