## Description

The Network Engineer is responsible for:

 * Providing functional and empirical analysis related to the planning, design, installation, and implementation of the network infrastructure.
 * Performing maintenance of file servers and network devices including the restoration of hardware and software.
 * Mitigating potential attacks through network or other connections to ensure the security of the system.
 * Working with other engineers, end users, and vendors to resolve network hardware and software issues.
 * Developing and administering end-user training to achieve efficient utilization of LAN/WAN.
 * Reviewing progress and evaluating results.
 * Assembling and integrating computer system and network device hardware.
 * Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
