## About the Role

* 2+ years of experience managing software engineers working on products used by external users.
 * A proven track record of building products (both as a manager and individual contributor) that are best in class in user experience.
 * A relentless focus on business impact through product & engineering excellence.
 * Demonstrated leadership skills in building a high-performing and highly engaged engineering team; including mentoring, and growing senior engineers., * Experience building large scale systems using React, C++, and/or Ruby
 * Experience building & maintaining open source software and/or libraries for developers

## Description

* Manage and support a team of product engineers focused on building and expanding Figma's developer offerings. Including Dev Mode , MCP , Code Connect , and more.
 * Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate work across product, design, engineering, and other functions.
 * Define strategy & roadmap for your team and execute on that roadmap with a high degree of autonomy, velocity, and craftsmanship.
 * Provide hands-on technical leadership to your teams and others that collaborate with your teams to ensure a cohesive product experience and the right technical abstractions.
 * Recruit, mentor and retain high performing engineers (and help with other cross functional roles). You'll foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and taking calculated risks.
