[ ## Description As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on the **FAB AI Platform & Agents** team, you will design and ship full-stack systems and AI agent capabilities that enable product teams across * **/dxg** to build, validate, and deploy trustworthy GenAI solutions at scale. You'll operate with high ownership-from concept to production-while mentoring engineers and raising the bar on secure, reliable delivery. **FAB** is a GenAI platform built by the **DXG Advanced Technology Team** to accelerate adoption of AI services across Wolters Kluwer divisions, with security and availability expectations formalized in SOC reporting. The ecosystem includes capabilities for **agents** , **indexing / retrieval** , and **datasets/evaluation & tuning** , with community enablement and reusable reference architectures shared through */dxg channels. What you'll do (key responsibilities) Build full-stack platform experiences + Design and implement full-stack applications and platform components that enable rapid development, validation, and deployment of AI agents. + Deliver robust user and developer experiences that move teams from experimentation to production with consistent patterns and reusable building blocks. Engineer production-grade AI agent systems + Build and evolve AI agents using current LLM patterns (e.g., retrieval/tool use/routing/evaluations) to improve quality, reliability, and cost efficiency. + Contribute to standardization of agent implementations via reusable "blueprints/specs" and a registry mindset (schema, CI/CD hooks, runtime contract, governance). Enable evaluation-driven development (Evals) + Build developer tooling and workflows for safe iteration: evaluations, rollout/rollback strategies, canaries, telemetry, and quality/cost tracking. + Partner with domain experts and platform stakeholders to continuously improve agent behavior based on measurable outcomes and structured feedback loops. Operate with security, compliance, and DevSecOps by default + Apply secure SDLC and privacy-by-design practices (threat modeling, least privilege), aligned to platform control expectations documented for FAB. + Build/maintain operational readiness practices (release pipelines, change controls, emergency access patterns) in line with FAB DevSecOps alignment efforts. + Proactively reduce common classes of vulnerabilities in platform workflows (e.g., mass assignment, parameter tampering) using strict DTO contracts and server-side validation. Cloud-native delivery across a hybrid landscape + Build cloud-native services across a hybrid deployment model where FAB design/back-office services are hosted on AWS while enabling runtime services to run on AWS and Azure. + (Plus) Experience with multimodal ingestion/retrieval pipelines (e.g., document * image transforms * embeddings; vector persistence and search integration) is valuable. Lead through impact and mentorship + Serve as a hands-on technical leader: drive architecture, unblock delivery, mentor engineers, and take ownership of larger initiatives. + Collaborate cross-functionally (product, UX, engineering, governance) and translate ambiguous problems into crisp execution plans. [ What success looks like (examples of outcomes) + Improved platform adoption and measurable agent usage (including platform metrics like agent invocations as a proxy for value). [ + Faster, safer delivery via better developer experience and operational excellence metrics (e.g., alignment to DORA/DX-style measures discussed for FAB). ] + Stronger embedded governance: compliance requirements (e.g., SOC controls) expressed as baked-in platform capabilities rather than manual checklists. ## Related Videos - [You can’t hack what you can’t see](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/41-you-can-t-hack-what-you-can-t-see) - [Developing the Backend with Stefan Lingler, CTO at Shpock](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100360-developing-the-backend-with-stefan-lingler-cto-at-shpock) - [DevSecOps: Injecting Security into Mobile CI/CD Pipelines](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/273-devsecops-injecting-security-into-mobile-ci-cd-pipelines) - [This App Reached 10,000 Users in One Week.
