You will provide network administration support for NOAA's satellite operations missions. You will support mission operations, routine maintenance, troubleshooting and anomaly detection/resolution, refresh and modernization planning, network integrations, and security hardening. As a Network Administrator, you will be expected to perform network infrastructure installations and upgrades, monitor the health and performance of a diverse network environment, develop standard operating procedures, and plan and execute network infrastructure improvements. We expect you to have a passion for building and maintaining highly available networks. You should have a desire to work with satellite data and products for the public and government. Besides, you should be able to perform well working in a team, along with system administrators, engineers and scientists. This position is located at a government facility in Suitland, MD. The position is eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
