## About the Role

To excel in this position, your background should include strong experience across these core areas:

 * SAP Basis Administration: Strong hands-on experience handling SAP installations, upgrades, patches, system refreshes, and migrations.
 * Security & Authorizations: Solid experience with SAP security administration, role design, authorization management, and translating functional requirements into technical security designs.
 * Infrastructure Management: Proven ability to manage database administration, performance tuning, capacity planning, sizing/load balancing, and system connectivity.
 * Monitoring & Tooling: Experience proactively monitoring SAP systems using SAP Solution Manager to analyze system logs and eliminate performance bottlenecks.
 * Business Continuity: Reliable experience overseeing critical backup/recovery processes and system availability.

Preferred (Bonus Points)

 * Public Sector / State government SAP environment experience.
 * Specialized experience with SAP Portal administration.
 * Deep knowledge of SAP best practices related to security governance, compliance, and risk mitigation.
