## Description

CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced System Administrator (Level 3) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Information Systems, with a specific focus on application and systems administration. This role requires a deep technical understanding of server environments, network technologies, and security protocols.

Responsibilities:

 + System Administration:

 + Manage and maintain server environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.

 + Install, configure, and secure servers in accordance with organizational standards.

 + Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of systems.

 + Application Administration:

 + Administer and support various applications within the organization.

 + Ensure applications are running efficiently and address any issues promptly.

 + Network Technologies:

 + Work with network technologies and protocols to ensure seamless communication between systems.

 + Collaborate with network teams to resolve connectivity and performance issues.

 + Virtual Environments:

 + Manage and support virtual environments, including VMs and containerization technologies.

 + Ensure virtual systems are configured correctly and securely.

 + Security Compliance:

 + Adhere to DoD 8570.01-M and SECNAV M-5239.2 requirements for system administration.

 + Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data.

 + Documentation and Reporting:

 + Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.

 + Generate reports on system performance and security status as required.
