## Description

Join Midnite as the technical lead for our greenfield AI & Back Office team. In this player-manager role, you will build the internal platform powering our global operations while driving practical AI integration across engineering workflows. You will lead three engineers to ship high-quality Python systems that redefine how our business operates daily., * Lead a brand-new, greenfield function with total autonomy to shape technical architecture and AI experimentation from day one.

 * Work for a well-funded Series C startup backed by The Raine Group, shipping proprietary technology to production daily in a modern AWS environment.
 * Drive high-impact AI enablement, moving beyond chatbots to build production-grade LLM tooling that accelerates an entire engineering organization.

What you will do:

 * Architect and build the core backend systems for Midnite's internal back office platform, focusing on configuration management and operational APIs.
 * Manage and mentor a small team of three fullstack and backend engineers, maintaining a high bar for code quality and professional growth.
 * Identify and prototype AI-powered improvements such as automated documentation, RAG pipelines, and intelligent alerting to reduce operational toil.
