Preferred Additional Skills: + SQL Server Certification. + Strong written and verbal skills. + -Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. + General understanding of Windows operating system usage and permissions. + Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, and virtualization technologies. + Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards. + Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, CompTIA Network+, VMware) preferred. ## Description Job Description: We are seeking a hands-on System Administrator to join our IT team and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our enterprise technology environment. This position is responsible for supporting and administering our predominantly Microsoft-based infrastructure, including servers, cloud services, networking, virtualization, endpoint management and cybersecurity technologies. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who enjoys working across a broad range of technologies, collaborates effectively with software engineers, IT specialists, and external partners, and is passionate about improving systems, processes, and the overall user experience. Strong documentation skills and a continuous improvement mindset are essential. Essential Functions: + Windows Server & Microsoft 365 - In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft Teams, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). + Administer Microsoft 365, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Intune. + Manage laptop deployment, imaging, configuration, software deployment and policy enforcement through Intune. + Support SQL Server administration, installation, updates, backup/restore routines and basic maintenance tasks. + VMware vSphere - Experience managing and configuring VMware virtualized environments (ESXi). Experience with new cluster builds and configuration is a plus. + Networking - Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and firewall management.
