Desired Skills: * Linux administration certification. * Extensive experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and configuring JBoss. * Experience with Red Hat Ansible or Terraform. * Experience supporting enterprise storage technologies. * Experience with networking concepts and administration. * Experience implementing and supporting security compliance requirements. * Experience with authentication technologies and services. * Experience developing automation scripts using Shell scripting and/or Python. * Experience administering physical servers. * Oracle Database knowledge and/or database administration experience. * Familiarity with JavaScript Object Notation (JSON). * Currently holds or has recently held SYS3 PRIVAC level access. ## Description Quevera is seeking a highly skilled Sr. System Administrator / System Engineer - Linux with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph to support mission-critical programs in Columbia, Maryland. This position supports a high-availability mission environment where you'll administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise Linux infrastructure supporting critical national security missions. In this role, you will manage Linux servers, VMware virtual infrastructure, enterprise middleware, and system automation while ensuring the availability, security, and performance of mission-critical services. You'll work alongside a collaborative engineering team to deliver reliable, scalable, and resilient infrastructure solutions in a secure production environment.
