Are you looking for a fast-paced and challenging position that will provide you with a wide range of IT experience? Do you want to work with a dynamic and talented team of developers and business analyst? If so, CDFW has a great opportunity for you! Under general direction of the DTD/ITSB Chief, the incumbent is responsible for supervising the work of the Automated License Data System Unit including activities relating to application development, support, business analysis, and project management. As part of the supervisory duties, the incumbent shall manage the unit's administrative processes such as hiring, vacation/sick leave requests, overtime, timesheet and travel authorizations. This position requires an in-depth understanding of IT and the System Development Life Cycle, Project Management and experience running application development teams and business analyst, and a strong desire to manage and develop technical staff. Position may be eligible for a hybrid telework schedule depending on operational needs. In order to be eligible for this position, you must either be transfer eligible or take and pass the following exam. Class Title: Information Technology Supervisor II/Exam Bulletin Working Conditions The duties of this position are primarily conducted indoors in a professional office environment, in a climate-controlled cubicle which can fluctuate in temperature and is under artificial light. The position involves sitting most of the time but also requires walking or standing, required to use a computer, mouse, keyboard, and will be required to focus and sit for long periods of time at a computer screen, multi-tasking, adapting to changes in priorities, and completing tasks or projects with short notice.
