## About the Role

* Experience as a Network Engineer, Network Administrator, or similar infrastructure role.
 * Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, and switching.
 * Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent networking technologies.
 * Familiarity with firewalls, network monitoring tools, and troubleshooting methodologies.
 * Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
 * Experience supporting enterprise or multi-site environments is advantageous.
 * Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
 * Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Desirable Skills

 * Cloud networking (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
 * SD-WAN technologies
 * Wireless networking
 * Network automation using Python, Ansible, or PowerShell
 * VMware or virtualised networking environments
 * ITIL awareness

## Description

We're looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our growing technology team in London. If you're passionate about designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, high-performing network infrastructure, this is an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise-scale environments while developing your technical expertise.

You'll play a key role in ensuring reliable connectivity, optimising network performance, and supporting business-critical systems across a modern IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

 * Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and cloud-connected network environments.
 * Install, configure, and support routers, switches, firewalls, and network security appliances.
 * Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity to ensure maximum uptime.
 * Diagnose and resolve network faults, outages, and connectivity issues.
 * Implement network security best practices, access controls, and firewall policies.
 * Support network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvement projects.
 * Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and technical procedures.
 * Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver reliable networking solutions.
