## About the Role

Do you have experience in TypeScript?, Alloyed is seeking a motivated software engineer to support building this platform. The role involves close collaboration with aerothermal designers to productionise and generalise existing internal code and wrap commercial simulation tools into C++ C# modules. Finally, integrating the modules with automated workflows through a cloud compute infrastructure, automating our design processes., * Strong technical background with a degree in science, engineering or computer science 2:1 minimum

 * Proficient in the use of C# or C++ and Python
 * Excellent understanding of software design patterns, best practices and principles
 * Highly effective communicator who encourages innovation through collaboration
 * Natural problem solver with a desire to learn
 * Organised and self motivated, able to own and independently manage large projects

Desired skills

 * Familiarity with:
 + Full stack development including Vue3, Typescript and Django
 + AWS EKS deployments
 + Machine learning model development
 + Agentic AI pipeline development

## Description

You will primarily be based at Alloyeds manufacturing site in Abingdon, collaborating closely with the mechanical engineering teams, reporting to the Head of Platform Development. A highly competitive remuneration package is offered, including equity incentives., * Design, develop and maintain modules within Alloyeds design platform

 * Integrating modules into a secure, cloud based compute platform
 * Work within a young, fast paced, agile development team in collaboration with aerothermal and mechanical engineers and technicians
 * Define and implement software solutions to automate existing manual workflows
 * Work collaboratively to solve complex problems with innovative solutions
