## About the Role

Do you have experience in Windows?, * Basic knowledge of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting

 * Familiarity with Windows/Mac operating systems
 * Highly proficient with all Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
 * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
 * Excellent communication and customer service skills
 * Ability to work independently and as part of a team
 * Good organisational and time-management skills, * Previous experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
 * Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are an advantage

## Description

The IT Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of the organisation's IT systems and infrastructure. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, assisting with hardware and software setup, maintaining systems, and providing first-line support to staff to ensure smooth and efficient business operations., * Provide first-line technical support to employees (in person, phone, or remote)

 * Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
 * Assist with user account setup, access permissions, and password resets
 * Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
 * Support the maintenance of IT systems, servers, and network infrastructure
 * Set up and support new employee workstations and equipment
 * Assist in managing software updates, patches, and antivirus protection
 * Maintain accurate IT documentation and asset registers
 * Support backups and data recovery processes
 * Escalate complex technical issues to IT Support (IT Desk)
 * Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and system implementations
 * Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures
