This includes: + Strong data modeling and SQL skills. + Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, Luigi, Dagster) and cloud infrastructures (GCP, AWS, Azure). + Extensive experience using the Python ML and DS ecosystem. * Excellent verbal and written communication in English, as you will use it to collaborate with stakeholders and senior management from diverse backgrounds. * Working knowledge of agile development. * Change management skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. * Strong presentation skills in communicating with experts and non-experts alike. GOOD TO HAVE: * Experience in building recommendation systems at scale. * At least an MSc, and preferably a PhD in a scientific discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. Data Science, Machine Learning, and Experimentation are key drivers of Glovo's customer engagement strategy. Data scientists own the core models that optimize Glovo's user retention and loyalty. These include our recommendations and personalization engines, which drive millions of euros annually in incremental revenue. As a Data Scientist, you will have the opportunity to work on projects that directly impact Glovo's ability to maximize user engagement, retention, and overall lifetime value.
