## About the Role

* 10+ years of DevOps/SRE/Platform engineering focused experience on AWS environments, with strong hands-on scripting in Python, Bash, Ruby, or similar.
 * A proven track record owning CI/CD strategy end-to-end (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar), making decisions about how software gets built, tested, and deployed across a multi-service environment.
 * Strong containerization and orchestration skills (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/Fargate etc.) and Linux/Ubuntu fundamentals.
 * Experience with infrastructure as code (Ansible, Terraform, etc.) and a drive to make environments reproducible and self-documenting.
 * Proven ability to serve as an informal technical leader: mentoring engineers, driving architectural decisions, and setting best practices across a team.
 * Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, and QA functions; equally comfortable whiteboarding with engineers and explaining tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
 * Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment; healthcare or regulated-industry experience is a plus.
