## Description

The Poetsch Group is looking for a Data and IT manager
(f/m/x) to support the team in the study of genomes and
how they change with aging and in cancer development. The
position strongly focuses on the collaborative development
of data analysis infrastructure on high-performance com-
puting with Omics data.

YOUR TASKS
» Design and implement standardized folder hierarchies

and naming conventions across HPC storage systems
» Collaborative implementation of standard operating

procedures for data analysis, software engineering and
data analysis pipelines, including for machine learning
and deep learning

» Develop and maintain metadata schemas to enable
efficient data discovery, retrieval and data lifecycle
management

» Create and enforce data organization policies and
best practices for research teams

» Implement quota management and work with users
to optimize storage efficiency

» Provide guidance to researchers on data organization
best practices

» Develop documentation, templates, and standard
operating procedures
