Emotional intelligence, cross team collaboration as well as the ability to help align team priorities are key parts of this role. * Strong full-stack developer, ideally closely matching our tech stack. Suitable candidates will be either experienced generalists or somewhat focused on the front-end part of our tech stack. Our standard tech stack is .NET (framework & Core), Azure SQL Server and the Azure platform, with a browser-based SPA UI in Vue.js and vanilla JS/CSS/HTML. * Great at breaking down big tasks into small chunks, solving tricky problems and tackling risks * Knowledgeable about a range of technologies, and quick to learn * Motivated by learning new things and using those to make a positive difference * Comfortable challenging and raising issues at any level * Great at asking awkward questions, kindly * An excellent, kind, and supportive communicator (who often finds yourself un-crossing wires between your colleagues) * Able to consider the broader impact of your design and coding decisions and those of others * Used to working with agile development teams on large software products Bonus points if you are/have * Knowledgeable about wider Azure platform services. * Worked with complex web interfaces with large DOM views. * Worked in (or with) the Professional Services industry. * Significantly augmented your team's productivity using AI workflows. ## Description We've come a long way in a short time, but there's still so much more we can do. We have grand ambitions to make Dayshape the most usable, scalable, flexible and rapid to deploy solution on the market, and we're not there yet. Our tech leads are great with people, helping to elevate their team and the work they do, as well as being able to get stuck in technically. This role is a mix of technical and people leadership, leading a product engineering team that will operate in a particular area of the product. What you'll do As a Tech Lead, you will lead, and work collaboratively with, your cross-functional team to plan and deliver new features and enhancements. You will take ownership of features and technical initiatives and make sure they are successful. The time split between technical planning and delivery, and line-management will depend on the size of your team. Initially, as we build up the teams, you will be more hands on, adjusting the split as the size of the team increases.
