## About the Role

Do you have experience in Software development?, * Minimum of 5 years of experience in Android development

 * Strong hands-on expertise with:
 + Android SDK
 + Kotlin (preferred) / Java
 * Solid understanding of:
 + Mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture)
 + Application security and performance optimisation
 + API integration and mobile backend interaction
 * Experience leading technical design and POC implementation
 * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile delivery environments
 * Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders, software development,android sdk,technical design,software development kit

## Description

We are looking for a Lead Android Engineer to drive technical design and delivery across our mobile platform.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role, where you will take ownership of Android architecture, lead proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives, and build high-performance, secure, and scalable mobile applications.

You will work closely with engineering teams, product stakeholders, and architects to define best practices and deliver robust mobile solutions that support business-critical use cases.

What You'll Be Doing

 * Lead Android technical design and architecture, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions
 * Drive POC development and innovation initiatives, validating new approaches and technologies
 * Develop and enhance high-performance Android applications using modern frameworks
 * Define and implement best practices in security, performance, and code quality
 * Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end mobile solutions
 * Collaborate with architects and technical leaders to align with enterprise engineering standards
 * Troubleshoot and optimise applications for performance, scalability, and user experience
 * Support continuous improvement through code reviews, mentoring, and technical guidance
