This position is located in Stuttgart, Germany (SOCEUR) and requires TESA approval. The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365. This position will act as the help desk lead responsible for managing client services staff, ensuring all SLAs are met, and deconflicting with subordinate units to ensure ticket resolution at every echelon. The IT Specialist is also responsible for maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting and repairing personal computer systems, hardware, software, computer peripherals, network, and AV equipment. The IT Specialist assists customers via remote access, phone, or in person. The IT Specialist displays critical thinking, problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as diverse experience with desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems and network connectivity. The IT Specialist has the ability to terminate, test and troubleshoot secure/non-secure voice, video, data and radio frequency cable infrastructure. The IT Specialist provides administration of network and communications systems, including, but not limited to Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems. The IT Specialist requires knowledge of AV/VTC hardware, software and network connections.
