To be successful in our unique environment, you must be detail-oriented, engaging, organized and enjoy what you do. You also need to be practical, perceptive, considerate, and work well with others, including team members and customers - especially in pressure situations. We love team players that take pride in their work; we hate narcissists. You need to be dependable, have fantastic customer service and communication (written and verbal) skills, and be willing to work a flexible schedule - including last minute changes, weekends are a must. You also need to be self-motivated, able to work with limited supervision, have basic knowledge of structure cabling, fiber optics and network repair, and be familiar with the use of Cisco commands and Cisco WLC. One year's experience in customer support in the hospitality industry (or equivalent high-volume, fast-paced environment) is a plus. Infrastructure certification for low voltage is a plus, as is certification for fiber optics and network certification (CompTIA or Cisco).
