This role focuses on developing, sustaining, troubleshooting, and integrating mission-critical applications within a modern containerized and Kubernetes-based environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include software development, testing, deployment, and integration with a mix of COTS, GOTS, and FOSS technologies supporting operational mission systems. Key technical areas include: * Linux CLI and Linux tools * Bash scripting * Recent Python 3.x development experience * Rust programming concepts (or strong willingness and aptitude to learn Rust) * MongoDB and NoSQL database technologies * Docker and containerd * Kubernetes orchestration * Helm chart creation and Kubernetes deployments * RabbitMQ messaging frameworks * GitLab CI and CI/CD pipelines * Infrastructure as Code concepts using tools such as Ansible * Git source control Desired experience includes PostgreSQL and Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence. This role requires an active TS/SCI with a Polygraph.
