Pay is based on relevant experience. ## Description This entry level position is primarily responsible for producing effective database systems according to the company's needs and specifications. This includes design, development, programming, debugging, maintenance, optimization, collaboration, backup management and more. Duties include: 1. Creating new database structures and designing data models. 2. Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. 3. Monitoring, debugging, and improving database performance and scalability. 4. Running performance testing procedures to ensure proper operation. 5. Writing documentation about the system and its implementation. 6. Developing and maintaining other tools that will interact with the database. 7. Implementing security measures and ensuring data accuracy and consistency. 8. Working with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs. 9.
