Preferred candidates should also possess experience with priority iterations of the Maryland Model (Total Cost of Care Model and All-Payer Model) and Maryland hospital reimbursement generally. ## Description The Health Services Cost Review Commission (HSCRC) is seeking a Chief of Model Transformation to support the implementation of the State's Achieving Healthcare Efficiency through Accountable Design (AHEAD) Model. The primary purpose of the position is to support agency leadership in advancing model transformation and program development under the AHEAD Model, while also developing, managing, and refining HSCRC policies under the Commission's regulatory mandate and the terms of the Model. This position will play a key role in coordinating with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI), State agencies, providers, the State-designated health information exchange (HIE), and other stakeholders to support program design, align policy initiatives, and facilitate effective implementation. The incumbent will conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses to inform strategic, operational, and policy decisions; monitor compliance with model requirements, deliverables, and deadlines; and manage assigned policy initiatives through ongoing evaluation and improvement.
