## Description

Network Support Technician - Intermediate installs, maintains, and troubleshoots network and audiovisual cabling systems. They ensure optimal performance of cabling infrastructure, support network connectivity, and handle AV setups. This role requires a strong knowledge of PC/Network communications hardware/software in a multi-protocol environment, and the use of network management software. Responsibilities include cable management, performance monitoring, hardware/software troubleshooting, and collaboration with IT teams to support connectivity needs. MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE., * Monitors and responds to technical control facility hardware and software problems utilizing hardware and software testing tools and techniques.

 * Interface with contractor support service groups to ensure proper escalation during outages or period of degraded system performance.
 * Assist with installation of terminals and associated hardware.
 * Provide network server support.
 * Requires strong knowledge of PC/Network communications hardware/software, in a multi-protocol environment, and network management software.
