Where duties included installation, configuration, tuning, upgrade/patching, and perform code migrations in a Unix/AIX environment. * 84 Months of system administration experience utilizing PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.5 or higher, including installation, upgrading, patching, tuning/configuration. * 84 Months experience in performing PeopleTools and PeopleSoft application upgrades utilizing PUM and Change Assistant tools. ## Description DOL PeopleSoft Financials upgrade Current DOL Financials system is running on PeopleSoft Financials 9.1 and PeopleTools 8.53. The current PeopleTools version is unsupported and need an upgrade to latest PeopleTools version 8.61x and the application also needs to be upgraded to PeopleSoft financials and supply chain management (FSCM) 9.2 to regain the support and running a stable platform for business continuity. This position will help with PeopleSoft upgrade activities as well as post production support activities. Post production activities will include future PUM Upgrades also. --- Day-to-Day Tasks --- 1. Research, Document, and Guide the PeopleSoft Infrastructure design/layout based on PeopleSoft best practices for implementation on upgrade. 2. Support Installation, configuration/application triage of the various software components of PeopleSoft (weblogic, Tuxedo, OpenSearch, Oracle database) for new Peoplesoft required environments with latest technology stack 3. Provide technical direction to meet business needs 4. Develop technically excellent solutions architecture that is aligned to business needs and direction 5. Research, resolve, and test configurations 6. Provide Research, Analysis and PeopleSoft Application support for the current Legacy PeopleSoft Applications 7. Support the proposed Peoplesoft upgrade project as required 8. Perform routine PUM Upgrades as needed 9. Patch Security vulnerabilities to the system 10.
