## About the Role

 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
 * 6+ years of experience in application development, systems analysis, or software engineering
 * Strong understanding of software development methodologies, systems integration, and application design
 * Experience working in enterprise or multi-platform technical environments
 * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
 * Experience collaborating with technical teams, business stakeholders, and operational support groups
 * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and documentation standards

Preferred Skills/Experience of the Developer IV :

 * Experience with enterprise mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, DB2, or IMS
 * Leadership experience mentoring developers or leading technical initiatives
 * Experience supporting mission-critical enterprise applications
 * Familiarity with high-availability systems and production support environments
 * Experience working across both legacy and modern technology platforms

## Description

SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Developer IV for a hybrid opportunity for candidates in Columbia, SC. The Candidate will support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise-level applications within a fast-paced technical environment. The Candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performing software solutions while contributing throughout the full software development lifecycle., * Design, develop, test, and maintain complex enterprise software applications

 * Analyze business and technical requirements to deliver scalable technology solutions
 * Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to support project objectives and system enhancements
 * Participate in the full software development lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support
 * Troubleshoot production issues, perform debugging activities, and recommend system improvements
 * Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support for development initiatives and enterprise projects
