Preferred: * Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent. * Experience working in healthcare or nonprofit IT environments. * Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, NIST CSF, or SOC 2. * Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for automation and system tasks. * Exposure to cloud security controls and identity management best practices., * Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs (e.g., servers, networking hardware, UPS units). * Ability to work in server rooms, under desks, and in other confined or elevated areas. * Prolonged use of computer and office equipment. * Occasional use of ladders and hand tools for hardware or cabling installations. * Must be able to drive between multiple agency sites. ## Description The Systems and Security Administrator is responsible for the administration, monitoring, and security of the agency's IT infrastructure. Reporting to the Director of IT Systems & Security, this role provides critical systems-level support and ensures the operational stability and protection of servers, networks, cloud services, and cybersecurity tools. This position works closely with the Senior IT Technician and IT Support Manager to resolve escalated support issues, implement infrastructure improvements, and support new system rollouts.
