Demonstrated experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree. * Domestic and international travel will be required. * Ability to get a CBP BI clearance. Preferred Skills: * 7 + years of experience in managing deployment projects of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal government is required. * Experience working with similar programs for DHS or Defense organizations and international customers is preferred * Prepare and complete action plans to be presented to the Government. * Ability to provide direction and mentoring to project team members, set appropriate goals and work with the team to provide efficient management of the deployment. * Experience documenting deployment processes and procedures * Proven ability to ensure compliance, and manage administrative requirements * Familiarity with security and surveillance infrastructure including sensor systems, power generation equipment, and networking (fiber/microwave). * PMP (Project Management Professional) certification. Physical Demands & Work Environment * Work is typically performed in an office or deployment site setting * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, bend, and demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see. * Must the ability to lift 15-25 pounds * Must be able to read, write, and speak English ## Description The Deployment Lead oversees the planning, installation, and maintenance of networked cutting-edge technology-based security and surveillance systems. This role involves leading cross-functional teams to execute site surveys, construction, technology integration (cameras, sensors, radar, communication/network and power generation systems), and system integration and testing, collaborating with DHS customers.
