The Information Technology group is a non-partisan entity that supports the technology needs of the Alaska State Legislature. We are looking for a candidate who has programming skills and a desire to support application development, maintenance and system enhancements. This position will provide the opportunity to maintain stable applications used in the State's legislative processes. This position will have the ability to work with development frameworks and tools, including C#.Net, SQL and Visual Studio. Primary opportunities for this position may include, but are not limited to: * Work with stakeholders responsible for drafting and editing work flow processes used for bill production. * Analyze software requirements, evaluate systems and suggest improvements * Develop and implement software improvements * Access/SQL database maintenance * Work as a member of the programming team * Ability to maintain confidentiality in a politically sensitive environment * Work closely with customers to find solutions to their needs Why work for the Legislative Affairs Agency?
