EXAMPLE OF DUTIES, Join a collaborative technology team dedicated to supporting and advancing mission-critical public safety systems. The Applications and Innovation Analyst serves as a technical leader responsible for administering, supporting, integrating, and continuously improving enterprise applications and operational technologies. This position supports systems such as Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Records Management Systems (RMS), telephony and call handling platforms, public safety databases, reporting and analytics solutions, and associated integrations. The role also champions modernization initiatives, automation, analytics, AI-assisted technologies, and operational improvements that enhance agency effectiveness and service delivery. This position participates in an after-hours on-call rotation supporting mission-critical systems and emergency operational needs. This is an FLSA-exempt, non-supervisory position requiring substantial independent judgment, technical expertise, and leadership., * Administer, configure, maintain, and optimize mission-critical public safety and business applications. * Lead and support technology modernization and innovation initiatives. * Design and maintain system integrations, workflows, and automation solutions. * Support reporting, dashboards, analytics, and business intelligence efforts. * Evaluate emerging technologies and AI-assisted capabilities. * Coordinate upgrades, testing, deployments, and vendor-supported projects. * Ensure system security, reliability, availability, and regulatory compliance. * Collaborate with partner agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders. * Participate in after-hours support and emergency response activities when needed., The physical demands described are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
