## Description

As a Sr Advanced FPGA/Firmware Engineer for the Torpedo Systems Group, you will work with engineering teams to develop, deliver, and maintain software and firmware products. Additionally, you will be the government customer onsite and frontline engineering representative as needed and when new products are delivered to help with installation, troubleshooting issues, and assist in corrective actions across several development programs.
Duties and Tasks:

 * Contribute to design, verification and documentation for FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) developments
 * Participate in architecture, system simulation and detailed design approach
 * Defines module interfaces and all aspects of device design and simulation
 * Evaluates the process flow including but not limited to high level design, synthesis, place and route, timing and power utilization
 * Verifies test results and analyzes performance
 * Develops and presents requirements, concepts, designs, decisions and results to internal management, other organizations, teammates and customer
 * Participates in the improvement of the FPGA organizational processes
 * Supports the generation of technical engineering products by using the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle
 * Working in a Linux environment
 * Writing in C and Multithreaded programming
 * Working with Real Time Operating Systems
