The Legal Assistant provides administrative and legal support to attorneys, helping ensure the efficient operation of the law office. This role involves preparing legal documents, maintaining case files, communicating with clients, and assisting with court filings., * Prepare, draft, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports.

 * Organize and maintain client files and case records.
 * Schedule appointments, court dates, hearings, and meetings.
 * Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and government agencies.
 * File legal documents electronically.
 * Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, depositions.
 * Conduct basic legal research when requested.
 * Manage calendars and track important deadlines.
 * Answer phones and respond to client inquiries professionally.
 * Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information.
 * Process billing, invoices, and timekeeping records as needed.
