## About the Role

* 10+ years of IT experience (internships, capstones, and additional experience may be considered toward total experience).

 * Active Top Secret clearance required (SCI eligibility required).

 * Strong hands-on experience with at least 3-4 of the following technologies:

 - Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) (upgrade, licensing, deployment)

 - Cisco Firepower (maintenance, upgrade, deployment)

 - Cisco ASA to Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) migrations

 - Cisco 802.1X deployments

 - DMVPN design and deployment (CNSSP-15 compliant)

 - Juniper ADVPN

 * Strong understanding of routing protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.

 * Experience designing and maintaining secure enterprise network infrastructures.

 * Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; equivalent experience or certifications may substitute.

 * CCNP Security or CCNP Enterprise certifications strongly preferred; CCDP preferred.

 * Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to operate independently in a secure environment.

## Description

* Plan, coordinate, and implement enterprise-level information security across network environments.

 * Design optimized firewall and intrusion prevention system (IPS) rule structures and ensure adherence to security standards.

 * Monitor and maintain the health and performance of firewall and IPS systems, recommending improvements where necessary.

 * Research, evaluate, design, test, and implement new network security technologies.

 * Develop and maintain technical documentation, including security procedures and complex network schematics.

 * Provide support and guidance to network engineering teams on security best practices.

 * Analyze technical and business requirements to determine efficient and secure solutions.
