This position provides IT Application Support for KDOT. This work supports the Agency's ability to provide a statewide transportation system that meets the needs of Kansans., * This position is responsible for developing major systems and complex applications for both desktop and web-based environments, adhering to approved system requirements. Programming languages utilized include, but are not limited to, VB.net, .Net Core, Angular 8 and above, C#.net, ASP.net, MVC, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, Javascript, T-SQL, PL/SQL, and other relevant development tools. Additionally, proficiency in system and application testing tools is required for tasks such as performance verification, code debugging, generating adhoc reports, and optimizing database performance. * The position entails developing major system designs based on comprehensive data flow diagrams, business objectives, system interface data flows, and architectural data designs using the latest application development tools. This involves designing the application to meet all development criteria, testing requirements, conversion specifications, implementation plans, and user interaction needs. Additionally, it requires incorporating current and future hardware configurations into both system and application design specifics. * Troubleshooting and customer service.
