The GIS Technician will support ROW mapping requests and GIS deliverables by assisting with data intake, cleanup, map preparation, publishing support, and final quality control. This role will help ensure mapping deliverables are accurate, consistent, and ready for use by project teams, field teams, and clients., * Support ROW mapping requests and GIS production needs. * Receive, organize, and prepare GIS data for mapping and publishing workflows. * Perform basic GIS data cleanup, formatting, and validation. * Create, update, and maintain maps, layers, and related GIS deliverables. * Assist with map publishing and review processes. * Perform QA/QC checks to confirm map accuracy, layer visibility, labeling, symbology, and completeness. * Help ensure final maps are clean, consistent, and ready for project or client use. * Maintain organized GIS project files and related documentation. * Support senior GIS staff with production tasks, revisions, and project deliverables. * Learn internal GIS standards, tools, workflows, and project requirements.
