## About the Role

* Proven ability to quickly understand and work with complex software systems, technical workflows, and application architectures.

 * Strong background in structured software testing methodologies, with hands-on experience creating, executing, and documenting detailed test procedures.

 * Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools, particularly Azure DevOps (ADO), for organizing test cases, tracking progress, and reporting defects.

## Description

Current project technologies include legacy Java, JSP, native Javascript, scriplet code built in Eclipse with a MS SQL server backend and GIT for the code repository., * Perform comprehensive testing of current and future software applications and modules, ensuring high-quality delivery for our customers.

 * Develop clear, thorough, and well-structured test cases based on requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, applying strong knowledge of software engineering principles.

 * Execute functional, regression, and exploratory testing across multiple environments. Validate new features, enhancements, and defect fixes, and document results with precision and clarity.

 * Log defects in Azure DevOps (ADO) with detailed reproduction steps, expected vs. actual outcomes, and supporting evidence. Collaborate closely with developers to drive timely resolution and maintain transparent communication.

 * Take full ownership of assigned testing tasks, delivering high quality work with minimal supervision.

 * Apply sound judgment and problem-solving techniques to meet objectives while working under general direction.

 * Participate actively in Agile ceremonies-including daily stand ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives-while collaborating with team members in an Azure DevOps environment.

 * Analyze customer needs, quickly learn new tools and technologies, and contribute to effective solutions both independently and within a cross functional team.

 * Prepare and deliver demonstrations of newly implemented functionality to customers or stakeholders, clearly articulating changes, expected behavior, and business value while confidently addressing questions.
