Bonus: * Experience in E-Commerce. * Experience building Discovery, Search, or Recommendations experiences. * Experience designing Generative UIs for use with LLM Agents. * Experience developing web applications for use within native mobile apps. * Experience working with AWS or other public cloud providers (Azure, Google Cloud). ## Description Chewy is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to work on Chewy's Discovery Experience team in Bellevue, WA. The Discovery Experience team is responsible for a key segment of the customer's journey across the Chewy web and mobile apps. We help customers discover products through search results, browse listings, recommendations, and more. We do this by implementing the UI surfaces through which customers interact with our custom search and recommendation ML/AI models. As a senior member of the engineering team, you will work with product, design, data scientists, and other engineers to architect, develop and implement your solutions. Your contributions will shape the development of one of Chewy's fastest growing areas and give you a front row seat to shape Chewy's future trajectory. To be successful in the role, you will need a proven track record of being a disruptor, innovator, and forward-looking engineer. You will need to be able to operate at depth, understanding every detail of the organization's product goals while maintaining the ability to "zoom out" and connect the dots across our technology stack. The role will have tremendous visibility in the product, technology & business organizations of Chewy.
