## About the Role

Do you have experience in Systems engineering?, * Technical training (e.g. certified technician) or university degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering

 * Experience in design engineering, ideally in aviation, defense or lightweight construction
 * Confident use of CAD software, especially Siemens NX
 * Knowledge of aviation standards (e.g. EASA CS-23, AS9100) is a plus
 * Experience with composite (CFRP/GFRP) and/or aluminum structures is a plus
 * Strong technical understanding and creative problem-solving skills
 * Good command of English; German is a plus

## Description

* 3D design of brackets, fixtures, adapters and structural parts for mission system integration
 * Mechanical integration of mission equipment, sensors and pods into the aircraft
 * Design and development of Mission Pods including carrier systems and aircraft interfaces
 * Modifications to existing aircraft structures to accommodate new mission equipment
 * Creation of 3D models, assemblies and technical drawings using Siemens NX
 * Preparation of technical documentation, specifications, BOMs and change documentation
 * Close cooperation with Stress, Systems Engineering, Certification, Production and QA
 * Support in material selection and manufacturing methods with focus on lightweight design
 * Support of prototyping, testing and First Article Inspection
