## About the Role

* 4+ years of professional Java development experience

 * Proven experience managing distributed (nearshore/offshore) development teams

 * Strong command of Spring ecosystem, JPA/Hibernate, and JBoss/WildFly

 * Hands-on experience with javax*jakarta namespace migrations and OpenRewrite or similar tooling

 * Experience in the banking sector is an asset

 * Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus); ability to read code commented in NL/FR

 * BSc/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent

## Description

A leading professional services firm is looking for a Java Technical Analyst to combine hands-on development with technical leadership on a legacy modernisation programme.
What you'll do:

 * Lead Java modernisation initiatives, including JBoss/WildFly upgrades, Spring Boot migrations (Spring 5*6, javax*jakarta), and RichFaces to PrimeFaces transitions

 * Architect scalable, secure Java solutions and define technical standards for the delivery team

 * Manage and mentor nearshore/offshore Java developers; conduct code reviews and establish quality gates

 * Oversee CI/CD pipeline integration and coordinate integration of code produced by delivery centres
