Ability to work with multiple, complex application layers.Strong background in IT operations, incident management, and service continuity * Good understanding of IT infrastructure, Security principles, Backup and recovery mechanisms * Ability to link business processes with underlying IT systems * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities * Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field * Training in risk management, crisis coordination, or emergency planning is a plus * Languages: Fluency in French and preferably also skills in Dutch ## Description Are you motivated by keeping critical IT services running, leading fast-paced incident response, and ensuring business continuity in a complex environment? One of our customers is looking to hire an experienced IT Incident & Continuity Manager to safeguard key business operations and strengthen the stability of IT services. This is a new role within the company! In this role, you are responsible for ensuring that critical IT services remain available and that major disruptions are handled swiftly, effectively, and in a structured way. You coordinate major incidents, drive problem resolution, and oversee disaster recovery activities to minimize business impact and downtime. You act as a key link between technical teams, business stakeholders, and management during high-pressure situations., * You take full ownership of the end-to-end management of major IT incidents impacting critical services. * Leading and coordinating the Major Incident process from detection to resolution * Mobilising the right technical experts and stakeholders to restore services quickly * Ensuring clear, structured, and timely communication with users and stakeholders * Driving rapid service restoration while ensuring longer-term corrective actions are defined and implemented * Managing related change activities * Documenting incidents in ITSM tools and leading post-incident reviews * Ensuring root causes are identified and addressed through structured problem-solving Problem Management * You are responsible for the effective management and continuous improvement of the Problem Management process. * Reviewing and improving the current process to ensure consistent application across the organisation * Defining clear governance, standards, and ways of working * Ensuring recurring incidents are analysed and permanently resolved * Driving structural improvements to reduce operational disruptions Disaster Recovery & Continuity * Identifying risks that could impact critical services * Designing and maintaining disaster recovery procedures and plans * Organising and validating regular recovery tests * Coordinating with IT and business teams to ensure fast recovery of services * Minimising downtime and data loss in case of incidents or crises ## Related Videos - [Hate organising your photos?
